I haven’t blogged in a while; life has been crazy but also so sweet. The Lord is teaching me and stretching me in so many ways; every day I am in awe of this life I get to live and the God I get the honor of serving!

This week my team and I moved cities to start our last month of ministry in Costa Rica. We are in a city called Jaco staying with a ministry called Ocean’s Edge. It is an incredible ministry that has been dedicated to serving this city for years!

The city of Jaco is very broken and lost; but there is also so much hope breaking through the brokenness. There are so many people who have moved here bringing revival and Jesus’ love to the city. It is beautiful to watch the ministry that has unfolded here in this community.

As my team and I are stepping into a new ministry and our last month in Costa Rica I invite you to partner with me in prayer:

  • Pray for my team and I as we continue to learn how to live in a godly community and love each other well.
  • Pray for the ministry we are staying with, Ocean’s Edge, and their leadership as they continue to bring love and light to this dark city.
  • Pray for the city of Jaco. The women and girls stuck in sex slavery (something that is very present here), those living on the streets, and anyone who doesn’t know the name of Jesus.
  • Pray for the hearts of those in this city to be open and receptive to the Gospel.
  • Pray that my team and I would be in tune with the Spirit and go where he calls us.
  • Pray for locals, that they would feel loved and respected as they are constantly disrespected and unseen by tourists coming in and out of the city. Pray also that Jesus would capture their hearts and they would be able to bring revival to their own city.
  • Overall, pray that Jesus’ name would be made known in this city.

In this broken city, there is so much room for Jesus and so much space for revival. I am praying and expectant that God has so much in store for the city of Jaco. I am already falling in love with this community and the people in it.

Month three, here we go!
