Team Hearth—

These four people are the people I will be living life with for the coming months. The people I will be laughing with, crying with, and experiencing the Holy Spirit with (and already have). They are each special and unique in their own beautiful way!

Here’s my sweet team:

Geneva— North Carolina

My team leader. Geneva did gap year in 2019-2020 and has such a beautiful passion for missions and the Gospel. Her calm and peaceful spirit invites others into the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. I think I laugh with her more than I do anyone else. She’s the coolest and I am so excited to get to do life with her!

Audrey— Missouri

Audrey is one of the wisest people that I have ever met. She possesses a heart of compassion that is always seeking out ways to love and serve others. She adds such joy and steadiness to our team, and I am so excited to be walking alongside her in this journey! (She is also a black belt in taikwondo— a beast.)

Jaylin— Arkansas

This girl is just a bundle full of joy and encouragement. Always finding ways to speak life into those around her and build others up. She just wants others to always feel loved and it is a beautiful thing to watch. She is one of a kind and always keeps us smiling!

Erika— Mississippi

Sunshine and laughter and light. She’s the mama bear of the group and a shoulder to laugh or cry on. She is bold and speaks truth in the most loving way. Erika fosters vulnerability in our group and is eager to share her story to help others who might need the same wisdom and encouragement. She is such a blessing to team hearth!

These four are strong and fierce women of God. Women who pursue the Lord and push me every day to do the same. Life with them is already so fun and full of light! As we prayed over what we wanted our team name to be at training camp, we all agreed that we wanted to step into the role of a family. A home that fosters vulnerability, laughter, and family. A home that is full of the Holy Spirit. The word hearth is also defined as home. So, this is team hearth! A home and a family all united under Christ. Thank you Jesus for these strong and beautiful women!
